Q?
Who is your direct competition?
A.
Look around and check out the logo identity packages of companies in competition with you. If they are successful, what makes them so? How do you rate their identity design?
Q?
What are some words that describe your company?
A.
Describing you company in 2-3 words can greatly help us prepare design work and convey those words into a company identity. What do you want your logo to "say without words" to your clients and customers? Arriving at the correct message visually, is vital for logo success.

Logo — Is there a particular style you desire, or samples of designs you like?
A.
If you have a certain style you prefer, or have examples of designs you especially like, show (email or share) the ideas you have with us. Share with us what you like about your examples, and what aspects of them you would like reflected in your companies identity.
Q?
Would you prefer an all text logo, or a graphic or icon along with your design?
A.
Logo/Identity designs can either be all text or have a graphic element within them. Text logo designs can be built many different ways — using the name of the company only, just using the initial, or both the name and initials. Logos with graphics can consist of the company name, with an icon or graphic; the company initials with an icon or graphic: or even a stand-alone graphic to identity the company. Some will choose to use a combination of these: having a straight text logo, a text version with a graphic, and then the graphic used without any text, as an identifying icon.
Q?
How many and what colors would you like to use?
A.
Logos can range anywhere from black & white to full color. For the most part, logos range between two to three colors. A logo of the time, when three colors are used, there are two hues and then black as the third color. If you have an idea what colors you would like to use, let us know ahead of time. If you have not selected any colors, discuss options with us. We will be able to suggest a few color combinations base on information provided to us about your company.
